Islamic Health celebrated its 10th year of Reaching Children in Need with an anniversary dinner to mark a Decade of Difference.

The invitation only event was held at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London, in conjunction with the 2013 Global Peace and Unity Festival.

The event featured special performances by nasheed artist Zain Bhikha and Saif Adam, as well as serving to promote Islamic Help’s latest campaign; Trees for Change.

Trees for Change is an “ambitious environmental programme” with the aim to plant 30,000 trees in Africa to help tackle the effects of climate change.

Aina Khan, Family Solicitor, was one of 650 invitees to attend the event.

Aina Khan said; “Their “Trees for Change” is a highly worthy project to plant 1 million trees in Africa. This will reverse the cycle of social deprivation by allowing villagers to generate income from plant nurseries’. They deserve our fullest support.”
