Aina Khan featured on the BBC Daily Politics Show alongside Nigel Farage and Baroness Cox.

In the advent of a crossbench peer introducing a bill designed to limit the influence of Sharia law in legal cases in the UK on Friday 23rd October 2015, Aina Khan appeared on BBC Daily Politics show alongside Baroness Cox and Nigel Farage.

Aina Khan argues that if religious marriages were registered, and civil divorces treated as Islamic divorces in the marriage contract, women would not need to go to Sharia Councils for divorce. But as the majority of new Islamic marriages in the UK are unregistered, these women will have no right to divorce.
