Aina’s talk is titled “Unregistered Muslim Marriages: A Ticking Time-Bomb?”. This lecture will explore the topic of unregistered marriages within the UK’s Muslim community and their legal impact.

Aina added;

“I am delighted to be invited to speak about my work and to enter into a discussion afterwards with such a diverse and knowledgeable group.”

This lecture will mark another milestone in Aina Khan’s Muslim Marriage project, which has included appearances on the BBC and the launch of a unique survey – created by Aina to gather vital information about UK Muslim marriages.

The survey can be found by clicking here.
